WASHINGTON--()--CTIA WIRELESS 2007®, the world’s largest event for the wireless industry, will showcase the latest mobile products and technologies available to both consumers and businesses today. More than 40,000 attendees from 100 countries will hear from a stellar keynote lineup of industry leaders from the entertainment, technology and wireless markets. CTIA WIRELESS takes place March 27-29, 2007 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
Show Highlights:
Fashion In Motion – A couture-style runway show with models displaying wireless devices and accessories from Chatt, Elle Mobile, Digit Wireless, La Perla, Motorola, Nokia, Panda International, Samsung, Skinit, Sony Ericsson and T-Mobile. Located on the Fashion Show stage on the exhibit floor, daily shows will commence at 11:30 am, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
2nd Annual Fashion In Motion Scholarship – Open to college students, the scholarship is awarded to the best invention that fuses technology and fashion. Entries are judged on innovation, creativity, applicability to culture and lifestyle, fashion and style. A $10,000 scholarship will be awarded. Last year’s winner was Manon Maneenawa of the University of Bridgeport, for his Triple Watch Cell Phone design.
Wireless Building – Located in Hall D, will showcase specialized areas that highlight enterprise and consumer wireless solutions and products. Vignettes include a retail store, executive office, café, living room/entertainment center, bar area and home office. Participating companies include: Ad Infuse, Applied Innovations, Earthlink, Ericsson, Gemalto, Magellan, Microsoft, MicroTelecom, Motorola, Palm, Plantronics, Research in Motion, Spotwave Wireless, Syniverse Technologies and Wilson Electronics.
