PHILADELPHIA--()--SEER Interactive, a leading independent search engine optimization consultancy, announced today that founder, Wil Reynolds, will be a featured speaker at the Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas this week.
“The show’s focus on how businesses use technology to drive results is in line with SEER’s core values and the value our experts bring to clients.”
The discussion will serve to debunk search engine marketing myths and provide attendees with information to help businesses maximize ROI.
“The Affiliate Summit is one of the most important venues for discussion about affiliate marketing. Search engine optimization is a large part of that,” Reynolds said. “The show’s focus on how businesses use technology to drive results is in line with SEER’s core values and the value our experts bring to clients.”
SEER Interactive provides search engine optimization consulting services to businesses of all types, including keyword research, ROI analysis and full campaign management.
“The higher a web site ranks in search results, the better chance it has of appearing in front of a potential customer and, as a result, making a sale or driving attention,” Reynolds said. “This sort of one-to-one marketing is what is driving today’s on-demand marketplace, where consumers can get any information they want with a few simple keystrokes and instantly connect with sellers or information providers.”
Growth Industry
A survey conducted by SEMPO (Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization) showed advertisers in the U.S. and Canada spent $5.75 billion on search engine marketing in 2005, a 44 percent increase over 2004 spending.
That same survey predicts SEM spending in North America will reach $11 billion in 2010.1
Now at seven employees, SEER has more than doubled its staff in the past year, adding two account managers and technical expertise while revenues soared by 400 percent.
“Search engine optimization is a combination of science and intuition. It requires an understanding of business goals as well as consumer behavior,” Reynolds said. “We’re growing rapidly because more and more industries are implementing strategies that take that knowledge into account.”
ROI = Success
The fact that more marketers are seeing the value of search engine optimization does not surprise Reynolds, who founded the company in 2002. Reynolds, 30, started optimizing web sites in 1998 for companies such as Barnes & Noble, Mercedes Benz, World Wrestling Entertainment and De Beers.
“I learned early on in my career how important it is to demonstrate the value this kind of marketing brings to clients and connect their investment to true results,” Reynolds said. “The metrics we use at SEER illustrate the value of the traffic we drive to clients, so the connection between traffic and client revenues is undeniable. Rankings are not the critical metric anymore, but rather the traffic and conversions that result from those rankings.”
