GLO CPAs Announces Keynote Speaker Luncheon with Former Federal Reservist Bill Sherrill, January 17, 2007

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GLO CPAs, LLP today announced their monthly luncheon featuring keynote speaker Mr. William Sherrill as he presents Houston’s economic forecast for 2007.

Mr. Sherrill, who has significant experience in such fields as real estate development, electronics, manufacturing, banking, and finance and has made noteworthy contributions in these areas, will draw upon his knowledge and experience in industry, finance, and government to present an overview of 2007’s projected economic situation both locally and nationally. His presentation will provide insight into the influence on the U.S. economy of financial markets and trends, the Federal Reserve Board, and the government.

Mr. Sherrill has been twice appointed as Governor of the U.S. Federal Reserve Board and served as Director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Additionally, he served as President of Associates Corporation of North America, and Director of Gulf and Western Industries, Inc. A champion of entrepreneurial management, Mr. Sherrill founded the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business and currently serves as its Co-Chairman.
