John Venardos, vice president, worldwide regulatory and government affairs, will represent the company on the board. Venardos leads a team of seasoned professionals who proactively represent the company with regulators and elected officials in 62 countries where the company's independent distributors conduct business. Venardos' focus is on regulatory issues in regards to the company's products, business opportunity and distribution channel. He is responsible for ensuring product labels, claims and advertising are compliant with each market, based on scientific substantiation and local regulations.
DSEA -- a unique coalition of scientific, educational and industry leaders -- educates consumers, the media and policymakers on the benefits of dietary supplements for optimizing health and prevention of disease, with a focus on their safety, efficacy and regulation. Its membership includes nutritional and dietary supplement suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and publishers.
