Carlini will be responsible for managing LA36, including the station's programming, production, community outreach and promotions. She will also be the primary contact with city officials, as well as with the civic, educational and cultural organizations the channel serves.
Since 2003, Carlini has served as the News Manager of KVWB-TV & KFBT-TV in Las Vegas, where she launched a highly successful start-up television news operation. Earlier in her career, she held News Director and Producer positions with stations in San Diego, Las Vegas and Medford, Oregon.
Carlini will be succeeding Steve Grace, LA36's retiring President. "Steve Grace has done an amazing job over the past five years, turning LA36 into a top provider of educational, civic, cultural and local sports programming," said Davis. "We are grateful for his years of service as well as the vision and leadership he brought to the channel and the organization." Grace will remain aboard during a first-quarter, 2006 transition period.
