| New DRM Approach Allows Content Providers to Securely Deliver Any Media Format to New Generation of Multimedia Cellular Phones |

Mobile Action (http://usa.mobileaction.com), a global leader in mobile management software, today announced that it has developed a secure method of delivering MP3 music and multimedia files to cellular phone users using Digital Rights Management (DRM). The new technology is part of FoneJoy, an enabling technology that allows digital content providers to securely deliver content for playback on both PC and cellular handsets, and allows consumers to buy MP3 music files for playback on multiple devices.
FoneJoy is a secure transaction system that allows content providers to manage the purchase of music, games, movies, and other digital contents. FoneJoy includes DRM so providers can limit the number of copies of copyrighted material, or timelock multimedia files so they will only work for a pre-set period prior to purchase. FoneJoy allows content providers to deliver multimedia files to users over a broadband Internet connection for transfer from a PC to a cellular handset. It also includes its own downloadable music player that allows users to create playlists and manage file transfers.

Rock Mobile in Asia has already signed an agreement with Mobile Action to deploy FoneJoy to deliver MP3 music to subscribers using DRM. Mobile Action expects to announce similar relationships with MP3 music services and other content providers in North America and Europe in the coming weeks.
