BURBANK, Calif.--()--Dec. 6, 2005--Q Television Network (Pink Sheets:QBID) today announced the launch of QTN on Cox Communications' San Diego cable system. Beginning December 7, 2005, the network's unparalleled lineup of live, original and interactive gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender programming will be available for purchase to Cox's San Diego area digital subscribers as premium 24/7 channel 399.

"Q Television Network's impressive slate of original TV shows has really raised the bar for GLBT programming. We look forward to providing Cox subscribers with GLBT programming that can't be found anywhere else," said Carol Hinnant, QTN's Vice President, Affiliate Sales & Marketing.

QTN will be available to Cox San Diego customers for $10 a month.

QTN has played an active role in San Diego's GLBT community, working closely with the Gay and Lesbian Center and Jet Set, among other organizations. The network was also a sponsor of the National Stonewall Democrats 2005 Convention, which took place in San Diego this past August.

In addition to movies, documentaries and original series, Q Television currently offers its customers five hours of live programming daily, including such hit shows as "Brunch," "QueerEdge with Jack E. Jett," "The Reichen Show," "On Q Live," "Q on the Move," "QTN World News," "Xcess/Access," "On Topic" and "Flesh and Threads."
