Winner of the Gillette Venus Vibrance ``Legs of a Goddess'' Contest Celebrates with Sisters Hilary & Haylie Duff; Gorgeous Gams Win Angela McNeany Red Carpet Treatment

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 2005--The Gillette Company today announced that twenty-two-year-old law school student, Angela McNeany has been named the national winner of the Venus Vibrance "Legs of a Goddess" contest. Celebrity sisters Hilary and Haylie Duff kicked-off the nation-wide search in June and last night celebrated Ms. McNeany's win by showcasing her legs at Hilary's surprise 18th birthday party bash at L.A.'s trendy hot spot, Mood.

A native Chicagoan, Ms. McNeany secured the title of "Best Legs" after defeating hundreds of women from across the country. Contestants from Boston to San Diego vied for the title before a panel of celebrity judges that included Hilary and Haylie Duff, supermodel and star of VH-1's "The Surreal Life" Marcus Schenkenberg, Red Sox great David Ortiz, and representatives from international modeling agency Karin Models. The judges were looking for a woman with shapely and toned legs who exuded confidence and enthusiasm.

Ms. McNeany prepared for her red carpet debut yesterday with the help of Haylie Duff and a team of stylists who gave Ms. McNeany a full Hollywood makeover, complete with hair, make-up and fashion tips.

"This has been a whirlwind of activity for me! One minute I'm studying tort reform and the next I'm told I have the best legs in America and am flown to Hollywood for Hilary Duff's birthday party," said McNeany. "Now I know how a celebrity feels; this is a dream come true!"

Ms. McNeany, a former competitive swimmer, attends Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and stays in shape by running and lifting weights. As the national winner of the "Legs of a Goddess" contest, Ms. McNeany also received a "Vibrant Designer Collection," valued at $50,000, which includes a Jacob and Co. signature five time zone watch featuring a pink and black diamond bezel, four seasons of designer shoes, a luxury handbag, and the chance to appear in a Gillette Venus commercial.

Gillette Venus Vibrance is available to consumers in North America in food, drug, convenience and mass merchandise stores. The shaving system, which includes the refillable razor, one cartridge, storage compact and an AAA Duracell battery, retails for approximately $9.99 - $11.99. A package of four ShowerSafe(TM) refill cartridges, which are individually sealed in a waterproof dispenser, retail for approximately $9.99 - $11.99.
