NEC Solutions America, Biometrics Customers Convene for 19th Annual AFIS Technology Customer Conference

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 30, 2005--NEC Solutions (America), Inc., a premier provider of integrated solutions for the Connected Enterprise in North America, today announced the kickoff of the 19th annual conference of AFIS Internet, Inc., an organization of approximately 170 international fingerprint technology professionals using NEC's Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) products and services. Several hundred NEC AFIS customers, partners and executives are attending the conference August 28-31, in San Diego, Calif.

The conference includes four days of meetings, seminars and technology demonstrations that cover a wide range of AFIS topics, including law enforcement issues, criminal case studies, courtroom presentations and more.
