CaliberRM, Borland's requirements management solution, received the Jolt Product Excellence Award for Management Tools, topping competing solutions from IBM Rational, Autotask and VersionOne. Together Designer, part of Borland's Together line of modeling solutions, was given a Productivity Award for the Design Tools category. This marks the second straight year that a Together product received a Productivity Award, with Together Edition for Eclipse winning in 2004.

The Jolt Awards, now in their 15th year (and sponsored by Jolt Cola), are presented annually to products, books and websites that have "jolted" the industry by helping to create faster, easier and more efficient software. The awards ceremony was held March 16 at the SD West Conference & Exposition at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
