“Knott's has always recognized firefighters and police officers as real American heroes, and as we approach another fire season following the devasting fires of last October we are reminded once again how true this is”
Year after year Knott's Berry Farm Theme Park pays tribute to Southern California fire and police personnel with free park admission during "Fire and Law Enforcement Days." This year, Thursday, Nov. 25 through Saturday, Dec. 17, Knott's will extend free Park admission for all active fire and police personnel and one guest. Up to six additional tickets can be purchased for only $7 each.
"Knott's has always recognized firefighters and police officers as real American heroes, and as we approach another fire season following the devasting fires of last October we are reminded once again how true this is," said Jack Falfas, general manager and vice president of West Coast operations. "These are the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect and serve our communities every time they go to work."
Nov. 25 also marks the start of Knott's Merry Farm. Traditional favorites including the Christmas Crafts Festival and nightly tree lighting ceremony return. Children will be in awe of the redecorated Timber Mountain Log Ride. Renamed "Elf Mountain Christmas," dozens of elves amidst the twinkling lights prepare for Santa's big day. And the world's most famous beagle once again stars in his ice spectacular, "It's Christmas, Snoopy." Guests won't want to miss Knott's blockbuster attractions such as GhostRider, Supreme Scream, Xcelerator and many others. Then on Dec. 7, Knott's introduces its latest world-class thrill ride - Silver Bullet! Silver Bullet will send riders to a height of 146 feet followed by six thrilling inversions through loops, curves, spins, corkscrews and a cobra roll all under 3,125 feet of inverted red steel track.
To participate, active fire and police personnel must present valid, photo fire or law enforcement ID at the Fire and Police V.I.P. gate Nov. 25 through Dec. 17, 2004.
