The devices used by our customers are not just personal computers, but also include mobile devices and a wide range of other technologies. For this reason, it's important that we employ a billing solution that has the speed and flexibility to handle these wide ranging services. It was clear that Portal offered a solution capable of meeting individual customer needs, and that Portal's convergent billing platform would become indispensable to us as we expanded our broadband services."

We believe that our highly scalable billing and Revenue Management platform, which can handle an increase from the existing subscriber base of 4 million up to a subscriber base of over 10 million, will contribute significantly to SOFTBANK BB's ability to deliver cutting-edge consumer services while lowering costs and increasing profits.
