SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 9, 2004--Borland Software Corporation (NASDAQ:BORL) today announced that Microsoft and Sun Microsystems Inc., both platinum sponsors of the Borland Conference 2004, will join Borland executives in providing keynote addresses at this year's annual user conference, held in San Jose, Calif. Elloy's keynote will address how both "doing software right" and "doing the right software" are paramount in enabling enterprises to maximize the business value of software, and how Borland's vision is helping transform the software delivery process to add more focus, precision, control and applicability for dynamically changing businesses.

Rick LaPlante, general manager of the Visual Studio 2005 Team System at Microsoft, will follow on Monday, September 13, 2004 at 11:30 am to discuss "Productivity and Predictability in the Software Development Lifecycle."
