Secured Digital Applications, Inc. Announces Name Change for Major Malaysian Subsidiary

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 25, 2004--Secured Digital Applications, Inc. (OTCBB:SDGL) announced today that Animated Electronic Industries Sdn. Bhd., the Company's major Malaysian subsidiary, received approval to change its name to Secured Digital Applications (M) Sdn. Bhd. ("SDASB")

The name change was made to more accurately reflect SDASB's major activities in biometric security, secured shipping and material handling as well as more closely identify SDASB with its parent company.

SDASB manages and operates five business lines through various subsidiaries -- biometric and network security, secured shipping and material handling, home security, broadband telecommunications and multimedia production.

The biometric and network security business provides customers with system solutions -- design, development and implementation -- for e-commerce, e-government and law enforcement applications. The secured shipping and material handling business offers customers supply chain management in combination with the secured tracking of ocean cargo. In addition, the material handling division provides equipment sale and rental as well as maintenance services. These two business lines afford the greatest growth potential for the Company.

SDASB also provides home security through its SmartHome division, offering home monitoring solutions through its SmartHome consoles and security cameras. The broadband telecommunications business develops networks and provides application solutions for broadband customers. The multimedia production division creates Internet content and applications.
