LION bioscience (Nasdaq: LEON) held its first annual Global User Group Meeting in Cambridge, UK, May 10-12. Over 80 participants from industry and academia shared insights into working with LION products, learned about future product developments, and discussed trends in informatics. In addition to these extensive discussions and live demos, several LION partners, such as Oracle, Microsoft, ChemNavigator, DeltaSoft, Celera and Silicon Genetics, showcased their collaborations with LION, and the products that resulted.

LION bioscience plans to hold two US User Group Meetings in fall 2004. One will be hosted by AstraZeneca in Waltham, MA, September 29-30, and one will be held in San Diego, CA, in late October.
