Today, Jack in the Box introduces the Pannido(TM), a truly unique sandwich featuring deli meats and cheeses tucked into a sleek, foot-long, toasted ciabatta baguette. Unlike anything ever offered in a quick-serve restaurant, Jack's Pannidos come in three distinct styles:

-- Zesty Turkey Pannido: Oven-roasted turkey and real provolone cheese with a sun-dried tomato spread;

-- Deli Trio Pannido: Aged salami, Black Forest ham, oven-roasted turkey and dill pickle slices with a creamy Italian-Dijon sauce.

O'Rourke is quick to mention that while the Pannido might not look or taste like traditional fast food, the sandwich's streamlined design makes it very convenient and easy to eat on the run.

Along with the unique new name, the Pannido is served in distinct packaging -- a long, slim bag made to fit the baguette sandwich to a tee. Each of Jack's Pannidos are available for a suggested price of $4.39 at all participating Jack in the Box restaurants.
