SAN FRANCISCO--()--Keiretsu Forum, the world's largest private angel investment network, is announcing a Call for Companies for its first China Angel Capital Expo in Oakland, CA on March 18-20, 2010. Submissions from China are due Friday, March 5, 2010.
Building on the success of the Keiretsu Forum annual Angel Capital Expo, the China Business Angel Expo will bring to California Chinese entrepreneurs eager to showcase their new companies to California angel investors and entrepreneurs. In addition to Keiretsu Forum's Bay Area members, members from Keiretsu Forum Beijing, Seattle/Northwest, and Southern California will attend the full-day event.
China Angel Capital Expo will feature booths and presentations from early stage growth companies in China in technology, life sciences, consumer products, clean tech, real estate, financial services, social ventures, and other business sectors with high growth potential. Each entrepreneur will make a 5-minute presentation and will be available for additional discussion and due diligence at an executive booth throughout the day. Following the presentations, the attendees will vote and award the top three presenting companies the "Most Valued Company" award. All presenters will be pre-screened by a select committee of Keiretsu Forum members.
“Keiretsu Forum's China Angel Capital Expo will showcase emerging companies in Beijing by bringing a dynamic group of companies to California,“ said Randy Williams, Keiretsu Forum Founder and CEO. “This will be an opportunity for extensive networking between the Chinese companies and investors here. We look forward to awarding the first ‘Most Valued China Company’ award."
