CouponShack.com Sees Record Traffic and Coupon Clicks on Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Notable trends this holiday season show more online coupons compared to last year, bigger percentage discounts from retailers, and record coupon traffic and redemptions from consumers as a result.

“For holiday 2009 CouponShack.com saw a 44% increase in the amount of coupons available for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Key Statistics

Black Friday coupon codes (has some form of the word “Black Friday” in the code) increased 219%, Black Friday coupon clicks increased 70%, and Black Friday total unique visitors increased 30%.

Even more impressive, Cyber Monday coupon codes (has some form of the word “Cyber Monday” in the code) increased 415%, Cyber Monday coupon clicks increased 72%, and Cyber Monday total unique visitors increased 84%. These trends match data from online marketing firm Coremetrics, which found that Cyber Monday sales rose 16% from a year ago.
