BOSTON--()--The Loire Valley Wine Bureau will host an exclusive trade tasting on September 30th at the Taj Boston from 2-5 p.m. The tasting is the only trade event entirely devoted to the wines of the Loire Valley, which are among the most popular wines with sommeliers and wine writers for their diversity and food friendliness. The tasting is open to all licensed trade, with open registration available at http://www.loirevalleywine.com/.

The Loire Valley Wine Bureau has invited all local importers and distributors to take a table at no cost, with the goal of assembling the most complete selection of Loire Valley wines in the Boston market. “These tastings are a unique opportunity for sommeliers and retailers,” says Ross Wassermann, spokesperson for the Loire Valley Wine Bureau. “It’s the only chance to taste so many different Loire Valley wines in one place and to demonstrate the huge variety and great quality the region offers.”
Participants include Ackerman Remy Pannier/Palm Bay International, Robert Kacher Selections, Kysela Père et Fils, Jon-David Headrick Selections, Classic Wine Imports and many more. Wines will be poured from some of Loire’s top producers including Nicolas Grosbois, Francois Chidaine, Jo Landron, Domaine Bacheron, Sylvain Bailly, and Couly-Dutheil among others. Similar tastings will be held September 16th in Seattle, September 21st in Chicago, and September 29th in Washington DC.
