VYPE Ranks Top 25 High School Football Teams Based on Its “In the Game” Insight
High School Sports Magazine Gets an Edge on Rankings with Home Field Advantage
TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--VYPE has released its second annual high school football rankings, which showcase the top 25 high school teams across the country based on performance, strength of schedule and team depth.
This year’s VYPE high school football team rankings include: Trinity (Euless, Texas), Armwood (Seffner, Fla.), Bastrop (Bastrop, La.), Poly (Long Beach, Calif.), De La Salle (Concord, Calif.), North Shore-Galena Park (Houston, Texas), Colerain (Cincinnati, Ohio), and South Panola (Batesville, Miss.).
Under the leadership of Brock Sawyer, VYPE’s Director of Online Production, the rankings panel is comprised of VYPE’s network of publishers and staff as well as VYPE’s network partners. This panel meticulously reviews the previous week’s games, taking into account scores and opposing teams. They also leverage their relationships with athletic and local sports directors that are involved in their communities on a daily basis to gain further insight into each school being considered.
Unlike other national rankings, VYPE’s rankings use all local opinions, scores and opponents. The information and views the rankings panel provides are compiled and aggregated onto one centralized rankings database, which ultimately comprises the VYPE Top 25 rankings.
“Our national rankings bring together the best teams across the country, taking advantage of VYPE’s ability to be at these games and see the action first-hand,” said Kevin Hern, CEO of VYPE. “Because VYPE has a local presence and trusted network of partners, we have the intrinsic means to deliver accurate, credible rankings in high school football.”
VYPE will release rankings for each main sports season including boys and girls basketball, softball and baseball. These rankings illustrate the breadth and depth at which VYPE has access to local teams, games and surrounding communities. Fans, players, colleges and opposing teams can use the rankings to gain a better understanding of the relative positions of teams in their areas and across the country. All VYPE rankings can be found at www.VYPE.com/rankings.
