Youbet.com Names Hollywood Park Horse Racing Executive Michael Ziegler as Senior Vice President

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Youbet.com (NASDAQ: UBET) today announced that it has appointed horse racing veteran Michael Ziegler to the position of Senior Vice President. Mr. Ziegler comes to Youbet.com from Hollywood Park where he was most recently Vice President and Assistant General Manager.

Prior to his three years of leadership at Hollywood Park, Mr. Ziegler held senior positions at Bay Meadows, Santa Anita and Golden Gate racecourses. Before entering the horse racing industry, he worked in marketing with the Oakland Athletics Baseball Company and Gatorade. Mr. Ziegler holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
