Cincinnati Residents Encouraged to “thinkGREEN” at Marvin’s Organic Gardens
April 26th Event Provides
Entertainment for the Whole Family and
Teaches “Green”

LEBANON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Marvin’s Organic Gardens, the tri-state’s only USDA Certified Organic nursery and garden center, will host the inaugural thinkGREEN event on April 26, 2008, to educate the community on the environment and how to live “green.” The event will feature live entertainment, a petting farm and educational lectures on green living, including composting and alternative energy sources. It is free to the public. Attendees will also be registered for door-prizes and other giveaways.
Lectures include:
10:00 a.m.—Learning to Live Green with Dan Korman of Park + Vine
11:30 a.m.—Basics of Composting with Wes Duren of Marvin’s Organic Gardens
1:00 p.m.—Bird & Butterfly Gardening with Chris McCullough of Wild Ones
2:30 p.m.—Alternative Energy Sources with James Kinsman of Green Energy Ohio
“As Earth Day approaches, we are all more aware of the impact we make on the environment,” said Marvin Duren, owner of Marvin’s. “But, people that attend our thinkGREEN event will take away simple tips on how to live green every day of the year.”
