BELLEVUE, Wash.--()--LYNX Medical System, a leading provider of emergency department (ED) revenue management solutions, has signed a three-year agreement with Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. to implement the E/Point facility charging application. E/Point features a proprietary algorithm that will help standardize and improve accuracy in patient facility charging.
“Additionally, E/Point will help us improve the realization of appropriate revenues that accurately reflect services provided and resources used.”
“We chose the E/Point revenue management solution to help us promote overall compliance within our ED,” said Linda Wilford, CFO of Holy Cross Hospital. “Additionally, E/Point will help us improve the realization of appropriate revenues that accurately reflect services provided and resources used.” By implementing E/Point, Holy Cross will also have access to financial and clinical data to better manage ED operations and patient care.
LYNX’s E/Point features a proprietary ED outpatient facility charging algorithm. This algorithm produces a visit level distribution that accurately reflects patient acuity mix and resource utilization in the ED. E/Point automatically calculates the visit level for consistent, compliant and complete E/M charge assignment. Once completed, charges are seamlessly extracted to the hospital financial system.
