Holy Cross Hospital Chooses LYNX Medical System's E/Point Outpatient Facility Charging Solution

Proprietary application to help facility’s emergency department accurately align patient acuity with resource use

BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LYNX Medical System, a leading provider of emergency department (ED) revenue management solutions, has signed a three-year agreement with Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. to implement the E/Point facility charging application. E/Point features a proprietary algorithm that will help standardize and improve accuracy in patient facility charging.

This algorithm produces a visit level distribution that accurately reflects patient acuity mix and resource utilization in the ED. E/Point automatically calculates the visit level for consistent, compliant and complete E/M charge assignment. Once completed, charges are seamlessly extracted to the hospital financial system.
