Moran is serving as a partner, responsible for identifying new investment opportunities in technology and advising companies across Venrocks portfolio on organizational change. As a 25 year veteran of Silicon Valley, Moran, 56, has served as a business consultant, social scientist, best selling author and evangelist for organization effectiveness. Morans work is derived from his observations as a partner at Accenture and a lifetime of trying to improve the effectiveness of organizations. He has consulted and worked with News Corp, Hewlett Packard, Apple Computer, Atari and Electronic Arts. His work also draws from the public sector, where he has applied his organizational expertise as Chairman of the Board for: Golden Gate University, San Francisco; San Francisco Museum and Historical Society; and Project Open Hand, San Francisco. Moran has distilled over 2000 bulleted prescriptions, too simple not to know, encompassing technological change, cubical life and career and life management. His observations appear in his five best selling books, including his latest, Nuts, Bolts and Jolts. Moran earned an A.B. at Rutgers College, M.S. at Indiana University and Ph.D. at Miami University, Oxford Ohio.
