What's up doc? More delightful cartoon madness when Bugs Bunny and the entire "Looney Tunes" gang join "Tom and Jerry" for another round on DVD on October 25, 2005 courtesy of Warner Home Video (WHV).
Following the enormous success of the first two "Looney Tunes" volumes, WHV will bring two brand new exciting installments of the animated classic to DVD with "Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume Three" and "Looney Tunes Movie Collection." The highly-anticipated follow-ups to the "Volume One" and "Two" collections will feature never-before-released material, uncut, re-mastered and restored shorts, documentaries and several special features. In conjunction with "Looney Tunes," WHV will also release another installment of "Tom and Jerry" with "Tom and Jerry Spotlight Collection Volume 2" which will also feature uncut cartoon shorts and loads of bonus material.
"Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume Three" will be available for $64.92 (SRP) and "Looney Tunes Movie Collection" will be available for $26.99 (SRP). "Tom and Jerry Spotlight Collection Volume 2" will be available for $26.99 (SRP).
"The first installments of both 'Looney Tunes' and 'Tom and Jerry' proved to be an enormous hit with consumers and we knew fans were hungry for more. "Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume Three" will be available in a four-disc collector set, which includes 60 uncut, re-mastered and restored animated shorts, some of which have never been released before. Disc number one titled "Bugs Bunny Classics," is devoted to that "wascally wabbit" himself and includes 16 of his most famous cartoons including such memorable shorts as "Hillbilly Hare," "Duck! Rabbit, Duck!," "Wackiki Wabbit" and several others. Disc number two titled "Hollywood Caricatures and Parodies" features an ensemble of animated classics such as "The CooCoo Nut Grove," "The Honey Mousers" and "The Mouse That Jack Built," plus many more. Disc number three entitled "Porky and the Pigs" has 15 shorts including "Porky's Romance," "Porky and Teabiscuit," "Pigs in Polka" and several others. The last disc in the collection is titled "All Stars Cartoon Party" and showcases 15 shorts such as "Super Rabbit," "A Gruesome Twosome," "Birds Anonymous" and many more. Each disc features an introduction by Whoopi Goldberg and contains several bonus features. Although "Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume Three" is a collection of cartoons, the content is intended for the adult collector and may not be suitable for young viewers.

The entire family will enjoy these two "hilarious" animated features which where previously released theatrically. The chase is on in disc number one entitled "The Bugs Bunny/Road-Runner Movie" as Elmer pursues the pesky wabbit, Daffy Duck tries to elude the animator's eraser and Wile E. Coyote tears after Road Runner and Bugs. This animated feature, was directed by Chuck Jones and Phil Monroe. Disc number two will delight viewers with another full-length animated feature titled "Bugs Bunny's 3rd Movie: 1001 Rabbit Tales." Our long-eared hero becomes a spinner of fantastical stories while held captive in a desert sultan's palace. Yosemite Sam is the sawed-off sidewinder wielding the sultan's sword. Mad mallard Daffy joins the fun, coping with an evil genie. "Bugs Bunny's 3rd Movie: 1001 Rabbit Tales" was directed by David Detiege, Art Davis and Bill Perez.
