Each year, PSN provides a comprehensive assessment of the quality and stability of investment managers by ranking manager performance over the course of 10 years. For the recent 10-year period ending December 31, 2012, the PSN Mid-Cap Growth Universe contained 118 firms and 153 institutional products. A "Top Guns Manager of the Decade" designation is achieved by PSN identifying investment managers in their database whose risk-adjusted performance profile is among the best for their respective universe for the prior 10-year period. Munder Capital is the only investment manager in PSN's Mid Growth universe to achieve the "Top Guns Manager of the Decade" designation for four consecutive years. "Top Guns" rankings are compiled for more than 50 investment style universes based on a PSN screening methodology that looks at several criteria.

According to Informa Investment Solutions, Inc., products must have an R-Squared of 0.80 or greater relative to the style benchmark for the 10-year period ending December 31, 2012. Moreover, products must have returns (gross of fees) greater than the style benchmark for the period and also Standard Deviation less than the style benchmark for the period. At this point, the top ten performers for the period were designated the PSN “Top Guns Manager of the Decade.”
