National Post Wins 62 Awards at the 35th
Best of Newspaper Design Creative Competition
TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The National Post has won an impressive 62 awards, the second highest number of awards in the world, at The Society for News Design’s (SND) 35th annual The Best of News Design Creative Competition.

The National Post was honoured for design and layout as well as illustration and photography on individual pages throughout the paper. Included among the 62 awards won are four silver awards. Two for a three-page visual depiction of the TV show, Walking Dead, by Andrew Barr and Richard Johnson in the category of feature page design as well as in the graphics category; and one for a black and white Style & Design portfolio as well as a Style & Design page, Gaudy Nights, both designed by Geneviève Biloski and conceptualized by Style editor Nathalie Atkinson.

Held annually, the SND competition recognizes international excellence in newspaper design and its elements. The SND is an international organization for news media professionals and visual communicators who create print, web, mobile publications and products. Its members art direct, design, edit, report, illustrate, make photos and video, visualize data and write code.
