Ben & Jerry's Waterbury Winter Festival Set For Saturday, March 5th

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 1, 2005--Ben & Jerry's is celebrating snow season once again with a fun-filled Winter Festival, at our world-famous Factory Tour in Waterbury, Vermont.

Admission is free at the Winter Festival, scheduled for Saturday, March 5, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. "We will be serving two special ice cream flavors available only during the Winter Festival, Vermont Snowball and Minter Wonderland, as well as offering free samples of some of our new 2005 flavors," said Sue Scheer, Tour Manager for the Waterbury facility, which welcomes 300,000 visitors annually as the state's #1 tourist attraction.

A wide variety of family-style activities are planned for the day, including free tours all weekend, lively music, snow sculptures, raffles, giveaways, Umiak's Snowshoe Quest and winter arts and crafts. You can test your skills on the Snow Mini-Golf course and Snow Volleyball court, or pick up a classic tee-shirt at the Ben & Jerry's Gift Warehouse tent sale. Food and beverages will be available from Kevin's Wicked Mountain Hot Dogs and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, as well as plenty of Vermont's Finest Ice Cream!
