PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Forever, Inc. today announced the launch of its free Intro Member Program. Forever.com is the world’s first permanent digital storage and sharing service. The company guarantees that it will save and enable sharing of photos (and soon documents and videos) in Permanent Member Accounts for the member’s lifetime plus 100 years, with a goal of thousands of years. There is no advertising or data mining on Forever and members retain complete ownership rights. Permanent members of Forever, pay a one-time membership fee and also pay up-front into the Forever Guarantee Fund for permanent storage. The Forever Guarantee Fund acts as a permanent endowment, generating income and gains which pay for storage, sharing and data migration to new file formats over time.
Forever launched its service in February at the Association of Personal Photo Organizers conference in Dallas and has already attracted thousands of members. Intro Memberships are not permanent, but Intro Members can convert their accounts to permanent memberships at any time for payments as low as $7 per month for 36 months. Intro Member benefits include standard Forever features like full resolution photo saving, triple backed up and encrypted storage, unlimited uploading, downloading and viewing, and private sharing with friends and family.
