TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Takagi Co., Ltd. proudly announces that its new product “Premium Nozzle (Handy Type)” has received the famous Red Dot Award: Product Design 2014. The same product was also awarded with the iF product design award 2014.
The spray nozzle is particularly distinguished by its high usability and quality. It can be operated easily with one hand and thanks to the ‘one-click’ solution, no additional locking lever is needed for continuous water flow. Optimum grip, even with wet hands, is ensured by non-slip soft rubber elements on handle and lever. The shower head is constructed with only one central supply tube, which leads to a very homogenous droplet structure, even at low water pressures. The result of the cone-shaped holes in the shower head is a very soft and gentle water stream, perfectly suitable for delicate and precious plants. The nozzle is equipped with four continuously selectable spray patterns. Therefore it can be used for watering various kinds of plants but also for extensive cleaning purposes.
In this year’s competition the international experts evaluated 4,815 entries from 53 countries. But only designs which won over the jury with quality and innovative strength received an award. The Premium Nozzle was successful and received the coveted Red Dot quality seal as its deserved reward. Representatives from Takagi will pick up the award at the Red Dot Design award ceremony in Essen on July 7, 2014. Takagi will continue to work hard to inspire its customers with innovative and high-quality products.
