Bringing a Cinnabon Flavored Coffee to Keurig Owners

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. and Cinnabon, Inc., announce the companies have reached a multiyear agreement to bring Cinnabon(R) bakery-inspired coffee to K-Cup(R) packs for the Keurig(R) single cup brewing system.

WATERBURY, Vt. & ATLANTA, Ga.--()--Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (GMCR) (NASDAQ: GMCR), a leader in specialty coffee and coffeemakers with its innovative Keurig® brewing technology, and Cinnabon, Inc., maker of world famous cinnamon rolls®, announce the companies have reached a multiyear agreement to bring Cinnabon® bakery-inspired coffee to K-Cup® packs for the Keurig® single cup brewing system.

The new Cinnabon® Classic Cinnamon Roll K-Cup® pack is inspired by the company’s world-famous, “hot out-of-the-oven” cinnamon rolls. The smooth, light-roast coffee blend is swirled with the decadent flavors of Cinnabon® cinnamon, brown sugar, and, of course, the legendary frosting. Cinnabon® K-Cup® packs are planned to launch on GMCR websites (www.Keurig.com and www.GreenMountainCoffee.com) during the 2013 holiday season. The product will be offered to retail and away from home channels, as well as participating Cinnabon® bakery locations, by spring 2014. The new coffee will join GMCR’s family of beverage brands available in the Keurig® brewing system.
