Womenetics to Award $11,000 to Students Focused on Global Women's Issues

U.S. Bank Partners with Atlanta and Chicago Based Company to Present Advancing Aspirations Global Scholarship Program

ATLANTA--()--Womenetics and U.S. Bank have teamed up to offer the Advancing Aspirations Global Scholarship, which awards $11,000 to college students interested in international women’s issues. The companies encourage undergraduates to research and create awareness about international business issues affecting women.

There will be one $5,000 first place winner and four $1,500 second place winners. Finalists will be recognized September 25 in Atlanta at the Womenetics Global Women’s Initiative (GWI) conference on Creating Shared Value: Powering Profits, Benefiting Society. The annual GWI conference convenes international thought leaders to discuss business solutions to social and economic issues. The deadline for entry is July 26.

To enter, undergraduates must compose a 2,500-word essay discussing one of three topics. An additional 200-word essay on how each student will use the award money is required. Finalists are invited to attend the conference and VIP reception. Each student who enters the competition is invited to attend the conference at a discounted rate.
