SEATTLE--()--Branding and design firm Hornall Anderson has promoted Ben Steele to Executive Creative Director.

Steele, 37, is charged with leading the firm’s creative teams, as well as overseeing key client relationships. Previous to his promotion, Steele served as a Creative Director at Hornall Anderson and headed up the writing and integrated campaign development for the firm.

“Ben approaches every client engagement with passion and commitment,” said Jack Anderson, co-founder and CEO of Hornall Anderson. “He believes authentic and memorable connections define brand success—for our clients, for their customers and for ourselves. And when you have someone like Ben making sure big ideas translate through every design execution, our work is that much more powerful and impactful.”

Steele has nearly 15 years of experience as a Copywriter and Creative Director and has worked at a number of creative agencies including McCann Erickson; Wong, Doody, Crandall, Wiener; Team One; and Copacino + Fujikado. His work has created connections and won recognition for brands including Lexus, PepsiCo, Major League Baseball, REI, Starbucks, Frito-Lay, Microsoft and Madison Square Garden.

Steele is an authority on the craft brew industry due to his work with Redhook Brewery, Widmer Brothers Brewing and Omission, and was a contributor to the November 2012 Package Design magazine’s “Beer Up” feature story. He was also recently spotlighted in Graphic Design USA’s “People to Watch in 2013” issue.

“I believe great work is the result of great thinking,” said Steele. “In every project, I try and challenge us to find the story and fight for the craft of our thinking as fervently as the craft of literal design.”

Hornall Anderson continues to partner with great clients, and as a result has varied employment opportunities available. To learn more about current job openings at Hornall Anderson, please visit the firm’s website at http://www.hornallanderson.com/careers/.
