Meredith Schnur named one of the Top 25 Women to Watch by Business Insurance

NEW YORK--()--Wells Fargo Insurance – part of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) – announced today that Meredith Schnur, senior vice president with its Professional Risk Group, was named one of the Top 25 “Women to Watch” by Business Insurance®, a leading publication in the insurance industry.

The “Women to Watch” honor is awarded annually to recognize influential female leaders and executives who provide exemplary work in the fields of insurance, risk management and employee benefits. The honorees are selected based on evaluation by Business Insurance® editors and are judged based on recent achievements, influence in the field and contributions to the advancement of women in the workplace. The 2012 “Women to Watch” Awards Luncheon was held today in New York where current and past honorees came together to celebrate the achievements of women within the insurance, risk management and employee benefits professions.

In her role, Schnur specializes in professional liability, technology errors & omissions, media, network security and privacy related lines of coverage. She provides consultative services, market negotiations, policy analysis and placement, policy administration and claims advocacy services. Schnur established Wells Fargo Insurance’s Technology, Privacy and Network Risk Practice group in 2007. She also helped organize the first NetDiligence Conference in 2010, co-chaired it during its second year and co-authored a network security and privacy claims study sponsored by the organization in 2012. Based in Madison, New Jersey, Schnur is a frequent speaker at various industry events relating to the topics of network security and privacy.
