Lawter & Associates' “The Last Bass” Tournament Yields Big Winners

OKLAHOMA CITY--()--Bradley Hallman of Norman and Larry Rea of Eufaula teamed up to win the annual Lawter & Associates, PLLC (Lawter & Associates) “The Last Bass” tournament held Sunday, November 11th at Lake Eufaula winning $7,568. The anglers weighed in 13.59 pounds to beat Nick Aber of Piedmont and Bill Bean of Eufaula who weighed in 13.40 pounds. While finishing second overall with a payout of $4,128, Aber & Bean also weighed in the Overall Big Bass at 7.40 pounds and paying $7,040. Finishing third was Phillip and Kala Wright of Spiro weighing 13.30 pounds with a payout of $2,064. Winners for 4th – 35th places received payouts of $1000 for each team.

Sunday’s hourly weigh-in winners with a $625 payout each:
10:00 a.m. Billy Stewart of McAlester and Tracy Gardner of Kiowa weighing in a 4.93 pound fish
11:00 a.m. Paul Smith of Copan and Wayne Diffee of Oakhurst weighing in a 6.75 pound fish
12:00 p.m. Phillip and Kala Wright of Spiro weighing in a 5.69 pound fish
1:00 p.m. Jerry Leibst of Wichita, Kansas and Steve White of Grove weighing in a 4.14 pound fish

Even those who came up empty handed over the weekend tournament had the opportunity to walk away as winners. Randomly drawn from all boats that don’t weigh in any fish, Jamie and Jim Flynn of Atoka won $500 as the Worst Fishermen of the tournament.

This annual two-person team tournament is open to the public and pays back 100% of the registration fees with Lawter & Associates adding another $4,000 to the pot!
