Taos, New Mexico Kicks off Summer Travel Festivities

Taos Mayor Darren Cordova handed the keys to the Town of Taos to Actor Dennis Hopper and named him the honorary Mayor of Taos. Hopper, who is curating a show of the five artists who followed him from LA to Taos, talked about them and what a great community Taos is for creating and showing art. "Hopper at the Harwood" runs from May through September 2009 at the Harwood Museum of Art in Taos, N.M., during the 2009 Taos Summer of Love. The 2009 Taos Summer of Love is a summer-long celebration of arts, music, films and festivals.
