Johns Manville Filtration Launches Assurance(TM) with SSP(TM) Air Filter Media

Johns Manville announces the debut of a new air filtration media called Assurance(TM) that includes proprietary Self-Supporting Pleat(TM) or SSP(TM) technology. For residential HVAC, commercial and industrial applications, the Assurance media with SSP enables production of self-supporting air filters without expanded-metal filter structures. Used to produce MERV 6 to 8 filters, Assurance with SSP eliminates the expense of the expanded metal in addition to eliminating a manufacturing step for glue and lamination of the metal wire to the filtration media.
