Alcoa Awarded $360 Million Contract by Lockheed Martin to Provide Aluminum Forgings on F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program

Alcoa is providing critical aerospace components and solutions to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program. Today, Lockheed Martin awarded Alcoa a 10 year, $360 million contract to supply advanced patented 708 5 alloy aluminum die forgings. Other Alcoa aerospace products on the F-35 include highly-engineered joining devices, specialty alloy plate, high-pressure turbine blades and structural aluminum castings. (Photo: Business Wire)
